The Bendrigg Trust

The Bendrigg Trust is a residential activity centre specialising in high quality courses for disabled and disadvantaged people, of any age or ability. It is situated in idyllic countryside, 7 miles south-east of Kendal, between the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales.

The aim of the Trust is to promote integration, encourage independence and build self-confidence through the use of residential experience and the safe provision of adventurous outdoor activities.

Since Bendrigg was established in 1978, literally thousands of disabled and disadvantaged people have discovered the ‘Bendrigg Experience’. Each individually designed course is supervised by dedicated, experienced and qualified staff who provide safe, versatile, high-quality adventure courses.
